Merhaba! The past two days were marked by a march connecting two seaside towns - Kalkan and Kaş. Fortunately, the route itself lies much higher, and its heart and soul is located at about 900 m above sea level. The plateau abounds in surreal western landscapes and creates an amazing aura of seclusion. Another thing is that, in fact, people are an extremely rare phenomenon here.

I ate my lunch at a roadside hut called Hüseyin's House. I wish I had more time to talk to him or to his wife, who prepared a nice meal for me. At the end you can see a photo from the steep final descent to Kaş, where I am spending the coming night.

The town is a typical resort where you can hear a mixture of foreign languages, including a lot of Russian, which is quite common in Turkey. In general, western Likya Yolu is a bit of a trekking picnic. The weather is as predictable as the defeat of the Polish champion in the Champions League qualifiers, the altitudes do not exceed 1000 metres, the English language is understood to at least some degree (provinces) or very well (cities), and the route itself is highly recognizable in the places it runs through.
